the cat's gone viral!

TANDEM director Simon Tofield's short film Cat Man Do is now officially a web phenomenon, having clocked-up almost one million hits on just one of its numerous YouTube postings.

The scenario of a persistent moggy pestering its dormant owner is based on the director's own observations of feline behaviour.

This artist knows how to draw -- the expressive elegance of his line is deceptively simple -- and as everyone who knows cats knows, he KNOWS cats.

As we Yanks say when something's really, really good, Totally awesome

I laugh out loud and watch this several times a day. The subtlety of the expressions, the timing, all of it. perfect. Great job, I'm so happy I found out who did this. Thank you so much!

It is the subtle attention to detail which really makes me laugh about this awesome film. Don't we all have an unused cat scratching post in our bedroom! When woken this morning with a particularly persistent cat I could only laugh as I was bullied into an early breakfast. And that's your fault for which 'Fish' & 'Kevin' are very grateful.

I thank you so much for making this piece of animation. Its so real, so warm, so catish!

Please pay the artist an extra drink from me. Maybe he can do a comic alike that about the cat...it would make the world a better place. Thanks so much!

I absolutely love this video. I've watched it over and over again, and forwarded it to family and friend. the artist obviously knows cats and what its like when the world is asleep and they're hungry. PLEASE tell me there will be more!
